Day 1 INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT TO BERLIN
Day 2
Your journey begins in Berlin, Willkommen !
Enjoy your panoramic tour of Berlin where you will discover all the highlights of the capital of
Germany. See Parliament House with the famous glass cupola, Unter den Linden – the main
promenade of Eastern Berlin, Nikolaiviertel with the remains of medieval Berlin, Brandenburg
Gate and Holocaust have become the symbols of communist regime, the remains of the Berlin
Wall, Bernauer Strasse, former Stasi headquarters, as well as the well-known Karl-Marx Alle. You
will also make a stop at Checkpoint Charlie, the most famous border crossing between East and
West Berlin, a point of spy exchange. Enjoy your first authentic German dinner.
Day 3
Today travel to Potsdam with the visit to the beautiful Sancoussi Palace and
Cecilienhof, where Churchill, Truman and Stalin met during the famous Conference in 1945. Tour
Jewish Berlin, following the Jewish traces in Berlin and with a visit to the Jewish Museum. After
lunch your trip continues to Prague. Arrive in time for an amazing evening meal and a view of
Prague city landscape.
Day 4 Golden Prague
Start with your guided tour of the Old Town where you will see the
beautiful Main Market Square with the famous Orloj clock, church of St. Mary's at Tyn, and the
magnificent Gothic Charle's Bridge – the pride of Prague. Visit the Hradczany district with the
magnificent Royal Castle and the impressive medieval St.Vitus Cathedral. Stroll through the
former Jewish Quarter and discover all the highlights including the Old-New Synagogue, Jewish
Cemetery, Pinkas Synagogue, Maisel Synagogue and the Jewish Museum. During this tour you
will learn about the Jewish heritage in Central Europe and its impact on the European history and
culture.
Day 5
Today you explore the village of Cesky Krumlov, an UNESCO world heritage site built on
the Vltava River around a gothic castle from the 13th century. The two great landmarks of Cesky
is the Chateau, one of the largest in Central Europe, and the gothic Church of St.Vitus. This
amazing castle complex is composed of more than forty historical buildings and a cylindrical
tower reconstructed in its preset form in the 16th century. Under the Castle Complex lies the old
town with its winding alleys and venerable Gothic and Renaissance houses, many galleries, little
shops and inns. This will be a day that you will never forget.
Day 6
Say good-bye to Czech Republic as you continue to Krakow Poland. Along the way, stop
to tour the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum, the symbol of Holocaust and the Nazi crime. Tour
Auschwitz with the exhibition in the prisoners' blocks, the crematorium and the gas chamber.
Then we move to Birkenau to see the largest extermination camp built by the Nazis during World
War II. Here you see the Gate of Death, the unloading ramp and the wooden barracks. Continue
on to Krakow.
Day 7
After breakfast join your guide for a walking tour of the Old Town of Krakow. Discover
all the highlights including the Main Market Square (the largest medieval square in Europe), the
splendid St. Mary's Basilica (with the biggest medieval altar of Europe!), the Cloth Hall and the
Wawel Hill with the magnificent Royal Castle and the Cathedral – the main Coronation church of
the Polish kings. You will also visit the students Quarter to see the oldest Polish university – the
Jagiellonian University. In the afternoon tour the Wieliczka Salt Mine. One of the oldest and the
largest salt mines in Europe (UNESCO). During your underground tour you will see the treasures
of the mine, the chambers, lakes, chapels and including the famous St. Kinga's Chapel with its
magnificent decorations all carved entirely from salt.
Day 8
Oscar Schindler. Today you will follow the story of Ockar Schindler and the Schindler's
Jews. All the history shown in the movie Schindler's List took place in Krakow. Visit Kazimierz,
the old Jewish town in Krakow, the Old Synagogue, Remuh synagogue and the cemetery, and
the Galicja Jewish Museum with the impressive photo exhibition. We follow the traces of the
Holocaust: the Ghetto Square, the Schindler's Factory and the Plaszow Camp. Transfer to
Budapest in time for dinner.
Day 9
Welcome to Hungary. Start your day with a guided tour of Budapest. See the Buda
Castle district with its numerous courtyards of the Royal Palace and in the picturesque old town.
Visit St. Mathias Church and the famous Fishermen's Bastion. Afterwards, visit Pest – the famous
Vaci Street, The Square of the Heroes and the Basilica of St. Istvan, the patron saint of Hungary.
Day 10
Begin your day with a trip to Szentendre. Szentendre is a town beautifully located at the
bend of the Danube River, about 25 km from Budapest. Szentendre is a wonderful town of artists
and craftsmen, founded in the 14th c by the refugees from the Balkans. Strolling around, look at
the old orthodox churches, tiny streets with numerous boutiques and workshops of the local
artists. Return to Budapest to visit to one of the famous baths of Budapest. Your last night on this
incredible tour, take time for a swim and to relax before your farewell dinner.
