Day 1

International Flight to Delhi

Day 2 & 3

Travelling by Delhi's modern metro as well as by cycle rickshaw, dive into the heart of India's capital to explore both Old and New Delhi. Visit Delhi's famous Jama Masjid, walk through Chandni Chowk, one of India's oldest and busiest markets and learn all about the Sikh religion as you visit one of the largest Gurudwara in Delhi. Wander through the India Gate, Rajpath and Connaught Place for a taste of the British India. Here you will also discover some of the former 7 cities of Delhi as you explore Qutab Minar, Humayun's Tomb and Lodhi Gardens. Learn about the father of the nation, Gandhi, as we explore the Gandhi memorial and discover the rich crafts of the country at the Craft Museum and Dilli Haat.

Day 4

Agra, described as a 'teardrop on the face of eternity', the story of the gleaming Taj Mahal is as tragic as it is beautiful. The building's exquisite marble inlay work produces a mesmerizing shimmering effect that is truly breathtaking to behold. Visit the enormous Red Fort, over the city from high on the banks of the Yamuna River and Itimad-ud-Daulah, the Baby Taj. Home to the Mughal kings for centuries, Agra also has some wonderful food specialities worth trying. Petha are pieces of white pumpkin dipped in sugar syrup and Gajak is a crumbly sweet made with sesame and jaggery.

Days 5 & 6

Travel to the 'Pink City' of Jaipur. Visit India's second most viewed site, the Hawa Mahal, or Palace of the Winds, the building's ornate architecture provides a sublime backdrop to a sunset. Follow in the footsteps of the royal harem, ride an elephant to the Amber Fort Palace. Discover the impressive City Palace, a vast complex of courtyards, gardens and buildings and enjoy some free time to admire the kaleidoscopic colours of the city's bustling bazaars. You will end the day to the singing and dancing of a Bollywood film at the art deco Raj Mandir cinema.

Day 7

Roopangarh Fort, Complete with a serpentine entrance, turrets and a grand hall, the Roopangarh Fort is a truly majestic place to stay. Walk around the village with the locals to learn about the culture and watch the potters and other crafts people at work.

Days 8 & 9

Today travel to Pushkar. With India's only temple dedicated to Brahma, lakeside Pushkar is a major destination for pilgrims and travelers. Walk with with holy men and take a walk to Savitri Temple for sunrise. Take a camel ride into the desert for a magical sunset among the dunes.

Days 10 - 12

Udaipur is nothing but a vision of splendour with white marble palaces and lakes. Udaipur is Rajasthan's artistic heart. India's most romantic city, Udaipur is a centre for artists and musicians. Get a traditional nail painting, have dinner at a rooftop restaurant, watch a local dance performance before sailing the placid waters of Lake Pichola. Visit the imposing City Palace - a true treasure of gardens, fountains and remarkable miniature paintings. Enjoy an excursion into the countryside and explore the majestic and intricately carved Jain temples nestled in a deep wooded valley of Ranakpur.

Days 13

This magical Taste of Rajasthan adventure comes to a close with our final flight back to India's capital New Delhi. Time permitting there will be some time for last minute shopping or sightseeing before one last sumptuous Indian meal. International flight home
