DAY 1 – INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT


DAY 2

ZAGREB ARRIVAL
Zdravo! Your adventure begins in Zagreb, capital of Croatia. On your guided sightseeing tour of
Zagreb you will see famous street of Ciril and Metod, St. Mark`s Square with it impressive roof
displaying the Croatian coats of arms, City Hall, Parliament and Stone Gate. You will also see St.
Stephen`s Cathedral where lies the tomb of cardinal Stepinac who was martyred for saving the
Jews during World War II, Ban Jelacic Square with the statue of Viceroy Josip Jelacic on the
horse and many other monuments.

DAY 3 - ZAGREB

This morning continue your tour of Zagreb and then explore the Croatian
Highlands where you can enjoy a traditional lunch near Krapina. After, visit the beautiful
Trakoscan castle, with all the original furniture, mostly having ethnographic collections of the past
times. Proceed to Varazdin, a 12th century city and one of the most beautiful baroque towns in
Croatia. Tour the old city centre, church St Nicholas, the Franciscan monastery, the baroque
palaces of old aristocratic families Erdoedy, Draskovic and Keglevich. Return to Zagreb

DAY 4 – ZAGREB – MOTOVUN - ROVINJ

Today travel to Livade, also known as “White Truffle”and home of the largest truffle ever
recorded. Continue to Motovun, which overlooks river Mirna, with it's castles and town walls, you
will see a true image of times past when it was built as a medieval fort. Motovun is also the
headquarters of international research for late Antiquity, early Middle Ages and the International
centre of anthropological science. Arrive into Rovinj, a wooded fishing port with its cobbled,
picturesque streets. Off the shore of Rovinj are the 13 green islands of the Rovinj archipelago,
which can be seen from St. Euphemia.

DAY 5 – ROVINJ – POREČ – ROVINJ

After breakfast, enjoy your morning tour of Rovinj. Visit the baroque church, St. Euphemia, the
protector of the fisherman, which dominates the town and holds a 1500 year old sarcophagus
with the relics of St. Euphemia. Continue to Poreč via Limski fjord. Porec's historic sites include
the ruins of two Roman temples, and the famous 6th century Euphrasius Basilica, a UNESCO
world heritage site featuring the well preserved Byzantine gold mosaics. Also visit a an early
Christian basilica with it's 4th century mosaic floor.
Late return to Rovinj.

DAY 6 – ROVINJ – PULA – PLITVICE

Depart Rovinj and travel to Pula. Visit the 1st. century Roman theatre, third largest in the world;
follow the Roman walls to the Triumphal Arch of Sergius, the Ancient Forum and to the ruins of
the Temple of Augustus. Continue your day with a scenic journey to Plitvice Lakes National Park.
Plitvice is a stunningly beautiful place, filled with lakes, waterfalls and wildlife. It is hard to believe
that this is where the Croatian War of Independence began in 1991.

DAY 7 – PLITVICE – ZADAR

Begin you day with a breathtaking tour through the park of 16 lakes connected with 92 cascades
and waterfalls. This unique phenomenon, more than 4000 years old, is just another of Croatia's
list of UNESCO's list of World Natural Heritage. Continue your day in Zadar, the center of
Dalmatia, a town, which is fortified with medival walls, distinguished for their impressive ports and
offers several important monuments such as the circular St. Donat church from 9th century and
Roman Forum.

DAY 8 – ZADAR – ŠIBENIK – NP KRKA - SPLIT

Depart Zadar for Šibenik, a city located on the Adriatic coast. Visit the Cathedral of St. Jacob,
built in 1434 and is an important architectural Renaissance building in Croatia that is listed by
UNESCO World Heritage. Have lunch and wander the little streets to explore the popular town
squares, palaces and the fortress. Continue to Kraka National Park, where you can explore
Croatia's most beautiful Karstic River, creating deep canyons, lakes and a multitude of striking
waterfalls. End your day in Split, a city that offers you a wealth of museums and Roman ruins,
spectacular beaches, old fishing ports, all situated on the coastline of the Adriatic Sea.

DAY 9 – SPLIT – SOLINE - TROGIR

Today embark on your full day tour of Split, Soline and Trojir.
Start with the Palace of the Emperor Diocletian, which is the heart of Split, built in 295 BC, yet
another UNESCO site. See the Four Gates, the statue of Gregorius of Nin, the Chapel of Arnir
and the Papalic Palace. Continue on to Soline, the largest archaeological site of Roman and Early
Christian ruins in Croatia. Next the city of Trogir, 2300 years of tradition, its rich culture was
created under the influence of the Greeks, Romans and Venetians, a fortress on a small island,
certainly deserves her nickname "The Stone Beauty”. Return to Split.

DAY 10 – SPLIT – STON – DUBROVNIK

Enjoy your journey along the coast to Dubrovnik with a relaxing stop in Ston, an important saltproducing
town with its medieval buildings, but best known for its oyster beds. Feast on the best
seafood in Croatia and continue along the sea to Dubrovnik, known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic”.

DAY 11 – MONTENEGRO

Today you will departure to Montenegro border, an hour from Dubrovnik, the Montenegro Littoral
provides incomparable natural beauties and an abundance of historical cities. Our drive takes you
to the mouth of the Bay of Kotor and along the curving roadway through the towns of Risan and
Perast to Kotor. Walk through the charming streets of Kotor, a city protected by UNESCO and
visit the St. Tryphon cathedral. Tour Budva, with the city surrounded by walls and enjoy walking
its charming narrow streets. Upon your return to Dubrovnik, enjoy the ferry ride across the bay.

DAY 12 – DUBROVNIK

Your final day in Croatia, so enjoy yourself while you experience the magic of Dubrovnik, a
"genuine, authentic and the only town in the world made of stone and light", founded in the 7th
century. Visit the Church of St. Blaise, Cathedral, Rector's Palace, Franciscan and Dominican
Monasteries, Stradun Promenade, Onophrio's fountain, Orlando Statue and the Sponza Palace.
Late afternoon, walk the city walls, which are considered the masterpiece of the renaissance
architecture, the symbol of Dubrovnik and 2.5 km long. The views over the town and sea are so
great, it is sure to be one of the highlights of your visit. Feast on your last Croatian dinner and
don't forget to take photos of the sunset.
